Whitby Camp Site - Sunset View

The Whitby Sunset View Camp Site is situated 4 miles to the south side of Whitby on the A171. Positioned high above the scenic village of Hawsker the site has the most amazing views of Whitby and the Yorkshire coast beyond.

Christened Sunset View for obvious reasons (the summer sunsets are second to none), our camp site has room for approximately 50 tents and their vehicles. On site facilities include : toilets, washing facilities and electrical hook ups to some pitches.

Sunset View Campsite makes a wonderful base camp for anyone wanting to explore Whitby, the local villages and the wider area of Yorkshire’s Heritage Coast. The beautiful village of Robin Hoods Bay is just 3 miles away and easily reachable on foot. The famous Esk Valley Villages are a little further but trains run every few hours from Whitby. During the summer months Esk Valley Railway run steam trains through the North Yorks National Park with stops in all the major Esk valley villages.

For those wanting to travel a little further, Scarborough and the major towns of Teesside are all within 30 miles driving distance.
